Tuesday, Nov. 22nd

In social studies we continue learning about Nova Scotia, Meteghan, and Acadian culture. In order to learn about these topics, we are practicing how to take notes using a mind map and then writing complete sentences using our notes. We started this process by learning about Nova Scotia, its location, geography and climate.

In math we continue practicing how to count by 2s and 5s, backwards and forwards, starting at a given number, place value and addition strategies to 20.

In Spanish we started the routine of "Leer con Alguien" (reading to someone). We practice reading the words and describing pictures in Spanish.

In English Language Arts, we are practicing how to edit our own writing following COPS (Capitalization, Organization, Punctuation, and Spelling). The diagraph for this week is "sh."
