Today we designed and created some drawings using 100 items to cellebrate our 100th day of school! We also read the story "Ready, Set, 100th Day!" by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace.
In math we are practicing subraction strategies, including counting backwards, minus 10, subtraction facts to 20, and fact families.
In English language arts, we brainstormed ideas and chose a topic we know a lot about to plan our opinion writing. We are learning about synonyms and how they help us write with more variety of vocabulary.
In Spanish we are describing our models of a house.
In social studies, we continue learning about Iqaluit, Nunavut.
